Tate Modern, Southbank
Thursday 5 November - Sunday 7 March
Bankside, London SE1 9TG, UK
The first major UK exhibition of renowned South African photographer Zanele Muholi.
Muholi's photography documents and celebrates the lives of South Africa's black LGBTQI communities. In a country where LGBTQI people face persecution and the constant menace of violence and even death, Muholi's deeply personal and intimate portraits and self-portraits shine a light on their lived experiences.
