Tracey Emin / Edvard Munch

Royal Academy, Mayfair

Sunday 15 November - Sunday 28 February

Burlington House, Piccadilly, Mayfair, London W1J 0BD, UK

I must confess, when somebody said to me they were excited for Tracy Emin and Edvard Munch at the RA, I initially assumed this was two separate exhibitions. That it is in fact one, makes it all the more intriguing.

The exhibition titled 'The Loneliness of the Soul' combines some deeply personal works by Emin with selected Munch works from Oslo’s Munch Museum.

The works will show the extent to which Emin has been influenced by Munch - In her own words: “I’ve been in love with this man since I was eighteen” - and work together as an exploration of grief, longing and loss.
