A free exhibition documenting the life and work of Hungarian artist and teacher Dora Maurer. A heroic and subversive figure in communist Hungary, Maurer was heavily involved in an independent community of creatives that promoted their own culture and rejected the socialist orthodoxy of the regime.
The exhibition features work across a range of media which explore recurring themes of movement, displacement and perception, as well as moving image works created in collaboration with musicians.
